Kitchener Wedding Photography.

As a wedding photographer, one of the perks is travel. You get to go all over the countryside, seeing beautiful wedding venues, awesome couples and all kinds of interesting sights and sounds. The place I find myself more often than anywhere else, is Kitchener. Doing wedding photography in Kitchener is an awesome experience. There are all kinds of interesting nooks and crannies in which to get that perfect shot. Excellent parks, historic buildings, and wedding venues make for huge photographic opportunities.

Often I get couples asking, where should we do our photos? And that is an excellent question! 

Before I give you my answer, let me turn it around and send it right back.

What describes you two as a couple? Are you the outdoorsy type? Do you love the urban life? Are you avid beer aficionados? Do you like to go fishing? Hike trails? Visit art galleries? Do you like to stay in and watch Netflix? Whatever it is that best describes you, that is a great place to start when it comes to choosing a location to do your wedding photos, or engagement photos.

A couple quick examples.

I had a very sweet couple, and one of their favourite pastimes was antique shopping. so when they ask, where should we do our engagement photos? Maybe the wear isn't quite as important. So we did pick a nice spot down by the water, but in order to make the photos really “them” instead of just going for a walk, they packed up one of their latest finds, an awesome antique looking picnic set, their favourite blanket a few trinkets and books and set up a spread. The resulting photos, are so much more them then any location we could have picked.
